I'm a Catholic layman in Arizona. I pray with people who are sick, grieving or burdened, and I ask Jesus Christ to heal them.
I am not a priest, a doctor or a counselor. I am a believer who prays. Jesus is the Healer.
Faith
I believe what the Catholic Church teaches. Jesus Christ is the Divine Physician, who heals soul and body. Every healing is His free gift.
When we pray together, we use Scripture and the Church's own prayers. We pray the Our Father, the Hail Mary, the Rosary and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. We ask Our Lady and the saints to pray with us.
I always point you to the sacraments. The Church calls Confession and the Anointing of the Sick the two sacraments of healing. In the Eucharist, Jesus Christ Himself is present: Body and Blood, soul and divinity.
Lo, I hide not my wounds; Thou art the Physician, I the sick; Thou merciful, I miserable.
Listening prayer
When I say intuition, I mean listening in prayer.
As we pray, a verse of Scripture or a thought may come to mind. It may be a grace. It may be only my own thought.
So I offer it humbly, as a fellow believer, and only if you want to hear it. It is never a prediction, a diagnosis or a message from heaven. You are always free to set it aside.
I test it against Scripture and the teaching of the Catholic Church. Whether any of it is a gift from God is for the Church's pastors to judge, not for me. Keep what helps.
But prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
Training
I trained with Victor Barron (external site), a spiritual healer, teacher and author. Victor leads healer training at the Body Mind & Spirit Healing Center in Whittier, California.
My training with Victor covers Basic Levels 1 through 5.
What I offer here is prayer, and only prayer: prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. I follow the teaching of the Catholic Church. I offer nothing it warns against and nothing it reserves to priests.

Why Fides
Fides is Latin for faith. Faith is where prayer begins.
Faith asks boldly, then trusts God with the answer, whatever He gives.
Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole: go in peace, and be thou whole of thy disease.
The name is my own. It is not connected with any Church office or agency.
Where I stand
